Thematic Peer Groups (TPGs) organised by the EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) provide participating member universities with an opportunity for mutual learning on selected topics. They contribute to a common knowledge base on doctoral education structures, policies and practices in Europe.
This TPG on career development and tracking will focus on the collection and usage of career data in doctoral education. It will take stock of the different approaches and methods of career tracking that have been implemented. In addition, the discussion will also include attention to the challenge of using the collected data to develop evidence-based career development support.
The first EUA-CDE Thematic Peer Group will take place on 15 March 2019 and it will be hosted by the University of Geneva, Switzerland. If you are interested in attending, please consult the call for participation below and submit your application via the online form by 16 January 2019. If you wish to receive updates concerning the event, please do not hesitate to contact the EUA-CDE Secretariat at info@eua-cde.org.
The call for participation is now closed.
