The EUA Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) strives to be an inclusive community of academic leaders and professionals. We welcome membership applications from all European universities awarding doctoral degrees and institutions working on issues related to doctoral education and research training. Individual full members are higher education institutions that are either full members of EUA or universities that award doctoral degrees. EUA’s national rectors’ conference members may also apply for this category.
Collective associate members are established European networks of higher education institutions with an elected chairperson and their own secretariat. As a minimum, their members must comprise institutions from at least nine different European countries.
Affiliates are organisations concerned with specific thematic or disciplinary issues related to doctoral education and research training.
The annual membership fees for EUA-CDE change each year in line with inflation. Please contact the Secretariat for further information regarding membership fees.
