Call for hosts: EUA-CDE events in 2026 and 2027

The European University Association’s Council for Doctoral Education (EUA-CDE) is inviting applications from member universities to host key events in 2026 and 2027.
Launched in 2008, EUA-CDE is now the largest European network in doctoral education and research training, covering more than 280 universities and institutions working in this field across 39 countries.
We are looking for EUA-CDE member universities that can partner with us to make our next events a memorable experience, while gaining international visibility for their own institution. This call covers two established events for the European higher education and research community, namely the EUA-CDE Annual Meeting and the EUA-CDE Thematic Workshop.
EUA-CDE Thematic WorkshopEUA-CDE members – 2026 and 2027
The EUA-CDE Thematic Workshop offers EUA-CDE members an interactive platform to establish and intensify partnerships and to collaborate and exchange on practices, current trends and future challenges in doctoral education.
EUA-CDE Annual MeetingEUA-CDE members – 2026 and 2027
The EUA-CDE Annual Meeting is the largest and most comprehensive European gathering on doctoral education and research training. It is an excellent opportunity to build new partnerships and exchange practices, and to interact with European and national policy makers, funding organisations, quality assurance agencies, global partners and other relevant stakeholders.
The deadline to submit your bids is 31 December 2024.
